The project will generate up to 7 MW of gross electrical energy from the waste heat and the flue gases evolved during the cement manufacturing process. The project that will be financed by a combination of internal accruals and bank loans is expected to be completed in about 14 months. The board of directors of the company has approved the project at its meeting held on 27th February, 2015.
