Current Status: Tenders have been invited for construction of grade separator at intersection of Sandhai road and Kundrathur road with GST road at Pallavaram with pedestrian subway. Document sale date ends on 29th May, 2015. The last date for submission of online bids is 3rd June, 2015. The project will be completed in 33 months.

Promoter: National Highways Authority Of India is planning upgradation of the Kullu-Manali section (length 37.275 Km) of NH-21

Location: Himachal Pradesh

Project Details: The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 2,184.7 million. RFPs have been invited for upgradation of Kullu-Manali section of NH-21 (now NH-3) from Km 272.00 to Km 309.345 (Designed Chainage) on EPC mode under NHDP Phase-IV B on e-basis.

The scope of work will broadly include rehabilitation, upgradation and augmentation of the existing carriageway to two-lane with paved shoulder standards in a length of 37.275 Km with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, drains, etc. and maintenance of the project during the Defect Liability Period, which is expected to be 4 years. Documents can be downloaded from 12th March, 2015 till 26th April, 2015. The last date for submission of online bids is 27th April, 2015. The project is planned for completion in 24 months.

Project Details: Madhucon Projects has received the Letter of Award (LoA) for the project on 17th March, 2015. The project will involve improvement /augmentation of 2-laning with paved shoulders from Km 1.600 to Km 80.000 (existing chainage) (design chainage from Km 1.600 to Km 80.133) of the Nagapattinam-Thanjavur section of NH-67 under NHDP-III on EPC mode (total design length 78.533 Km) in Tamil Nadu on EPC basis.

Government Of Haryana is planning to construct the Bawana-Yamunanagar Expressway.

Project: Plans to construct the Bawana-Yamunanagar Expressway

Location: Haryana and Delhi.

Cost: The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 10,000 million.

Project Details: The project is in initial stage. According to sources, the government is planning to construct the 200 Kms long Bawana-Yamunanagar Expressway along the Western Yamuna Canal and directing the authorities to carry out a survey of the proposed road. Out of the 200 Kms, 160 Kms falls in the NCR area and rest falls in Yamunanagar district. The expressway will have 4 Railway Over Bridges (ROBs) and 10 flyovers and 10 meter service road. The state government will spend Rs. 1,500 million, the remaining amount will be borne by National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB). The project will decongest traffic on NH-1 at Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal and Yamuna Nagar as it passes through these places.

Project Details: The length of the road is 104.176 Kms. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 10,771.1 million. RFP invited for 4-laning from Singhara to Binjabahal (Km. 310.806 to Km. 414.982) of Baharagora Sambalpur Section of NH-6 through Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (Toll) basis under NHDP Phase-IV project on e-basis. According to media sources, the project is inclusive of the cost of land land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities.
