Project Details: Foundation stone was laid on 27th April, 2016. The Institute is being established at a cost of Rs. 401 million from the Centre whereas the Government of Himachal Pradesh apart from providing land has also made a provision of Rs. 20 million in the annual budget 2016-17 for the same. Himachal Pradesh government had released first installment to the tune Rs. 0.5 million to the Institute of Plastic engineering on 2nd January, 2016 for creating infrastructure. At present, CIPET Baddi is functioning temporarily in the premises of Baddi Technical Training Institute (BTTI). The motive of CIPET Centre is to upgrade the skill & technical competency of personnel in plastics industry. It offers Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT) from the academic year 2015-16 besides wide range of short-duration, skill-cum-technology up-gradation programmes in the field of plastics processing, injection moulding etc. The CIPET Centre will be inaugurated in 2017.

Project Details: The Government has initiated implementation of the project under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) in Andhra Pradesh, with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,200 million (Central share Rs. 600 million for procurement of medical equipment including consultancy fee and institute share Rs. 600 million) under Phase 1 of PMSSY.


Mangalore University is planning a post graduate centre in dist. Udupi, Karnataka

Conceptual Stage

Mangalore University is planning a post graduate centre at the Government First Grade College at Hiriyadkka, dist. Udupi, Karnataka. A proposal has been submitted to the Government & is awaiting approval. The college has 11 acres of land. Adjoining the college, the university has identified about 39 acres suitable for the centre. The project is in an initial stage. The centre is expected to be opened in the next academic year. Other details like cost etc are yet to be finalized.

Karnataka German Multi Skill Development Centre is planning to open Karnataka German Multi Skill Development Centres in Karnataka

Karnataka German Multi Skill Development Centre, a society promoted by Government of India and Government of Karnataka with technical support of German International Services (GIZ-IS), is planning to open 2 Karnataka German Multi Skill Development Centres, one each in dist. Mysuru and dist. Ballari, Karnataka. The primary objective of the centres is to conduct broad based multi disciplinary programmes in various industrial and technical fields. These centres are directed towards development of skills and trades. The project is waiting for funds from the Government of India and is planned for completion in 2015. 3 centres at Hubballi, Mangaluru, Belagavi, had been inaugurated in April-May 2015.

Location: Ghimtoli, dist. Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand

Cost: The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 34.872 million.

Current Status: E-tenders have been invited (National Competitive Bidding). The Government of India has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Uttarakhand Disaster Recovery Plant (UDRP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for packages. Document download date starts on 22nd April, 2015 and ends on 22nd May, 2015. The last date for submission of online bids is 22nd May, 2015. The project completion period is 15 months.
