Project Details: ‘Paras Bliss’ 50-bedded Mother & Child Care hospital at Mansa Devi Complex, dist. Panchkula, Haryana in February, 2016. The facility will offer specialized medical services such as: personal birthing consultants, post delivery weight management, special focus on women & adolescent health, lactation counseling and massage treatment amongst others. It has state of the art ICU, level- III NICU and modular operation theaters to treat all gynae, pediatric & neonatal complications. The hospital also has specialized dedicated institutes for cosmetology, dermatology, dentistry and physiotherapy.

Location: Pallapatti Duraisamy Layout In Ward 25, Anna Hospital In Ward 40, Puthumariyamman Temple Street In Ward 10, Annathanapatti In Ward 49, Sanjeevirayan Pettai In Dadagapatti In Ward 55, Sanjeevirayan Pettai In Dadagapatti In Ward 47 in Salem district of Tamil Nadu.

Cost: The project cost is estimated to be Rs. 3.17 million.

Current Status: Tender is yet to be invited for contractor. According to media reports, under the National Urban Health Mission, the corporation was sanctioned Rs. 25.2 million for construction of six hospitals. The Corporation also decided to provide Rs. 6.595 million from its general fund for the construction activities. Each hospital would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.315 million, except the hospital in ward 10 which would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.220 million.

Project Details: The project will spread over 7,608.95 sq.ft. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. Other details are yet to be finalized. According to MoEF sources, the project comprises of 1 hospital building (B+G+6 floors). FSI area is 12,585.70 sq.mtrs. and total construction area is 24,150.41 sq.mtrs. Maximum height of the building is 29.70 m. Wastewater generated (95 KLD) used will be treated in STP of 95 KLD capacity. Biomedical waste generation will be 788 kg/month which will be handed over to MPCB authorized agency for safe disposal.

The total power requirement during construction phase is 200kVA and will be met from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) and total power requirement during operation phase is 5.35MW and will be met from MSEDCL. Rooftop rainwater of buildings will be collected in one RWH tank of total 44 cu.mtrs capacity for harvesting after filtration. Parking facility for 86 four wheelers and 130 nos. of two wheelers is proposed to be provided against the requirement of 84 four wheelers and 126 two wheelers.


Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University is planning poultry hospitals in Kerala.

Location: Mannarkkad (dist. Palakkad), Perumbavoor (dist. Ernakulam) and at Kuthuparamba (dist. Kannur), Kerala.

Project Details: Total estimated cost of the project is Rs. 6 million – inclusive of all the three hospitals excluding the infrastructure cost. Land allotment is underway from the Kerala State Poultry Development Corporation. Work on the project will commence shortly & is planned for completion in 2016. The KVASU is also planning a separate tribal entrepreneurship training centre at Thiruvazhamkunnu.

Twenty-five veterinary service-cum-entrepreneurship centres would be established in the State in collaboration with the Malabar Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union. According to media reports, the total budget allocation for the financial year 2015-16 is Rs. 2040.5 million, of which, 38 percent would be utilized for infrastructure and farm development & 24 percent each for education and research.


Government Of Kerala is planning to construct a Government Medical College Hospital in dist. Kasaragod, Kerala.

Location: Badiyadukka, dist. Kasaragod, Kerala.

Project Cost: The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 3,880 million.

Current Status: Out of the total amount, phase-I of the work is estimated to cost Rs. 1510 million. The project will also utilise the loan of Rs. 684.5 million, which the NABARD sanctioned for the construction work in December 2014. Tenders for Rs. 294 million of the total first phase estimate will be floated in March 2015. The project is expected to be completed in 2017.

Project Details: The company has signed an agreement with Sankara Eye Care Institutions India in January, 2015 to implement and operate the hospital. According to the agreement, the company will extend financial support as a grant up to Rs. 423 million for construction of the project & the required infrastructure including equipment to be built over 4.5 acres of land in the Samarjhola village. Sankara Eye Care Institutions India will implement and operate the hospital & the hospital will have facilities like comprehensive eye care, investigations and outpatient treatment, low vision clinic, contact lens clinic, special clinic for children, day care options – same day surgeries, micro phaco cataract surgeries for spectacle free vision, glaucoma services and others.


Care Hospitals Group is renovating the multi-speciality ‘Care Hospital’ in dist. Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
