Project Details: The estimated cost of the project Rs. 100 million. The current status of the project could not be ascertained. According to MoEF sources, the total plot area is 15,480 sq. mtrs. The capacity of isomers & DNCB such as 2:4 DNCB, 2:6 DCNB, 2:5 DNCB is to be augmented from 200 TPM to 2200 TPM, ortho anisidine/ para anisidine from 100 TPM to 1100 TPM, ortho nitro aniline/ para nitro aniline from 300 TPM to 2,300 TPM, isomers of DCA from 80 TPM to 1,080 TPM, isomers & DCNB such as 2:3 DCNB, 2:5 DCNB. isomers of DCNB such as 2:3 DCNB, 2:5 DCNB, 3:4 DCNB from 200 TPM to 2,200 TPM, H-acid from 50 TPM to 500 TPM and addition of a new product namely, 1,500 TPM derivatives of nitro phenol and a new 10 MW coal-based CPP. 10 MW power requirement is to be met from MGVCL and 10 MW from the CPP. The effluent will be treated in proposed effluent treatment plant.

Project Details: The project consists of a 5,000 TCD sugar project, a 60 KLD molasses/ sugarcane juice/ sugar beet-based distillery/ 45 KLD grain based distillery to produce ENA & a 29.5 MW co-gen power plant. Civil work & machinery erection is in progress. The entire project is scheduled for completion in December 2015.

Location: Mansoorwala Village, dist. Ferozepur, Punjab

Project Details: The project will come up in its existing distillery plant premises. The project will consist of a 2×250 KLD grain-based distillery to produce ethanol, RS industrial & ENA & a 2×20 MW coal/rice husk/pet coke/ biomass/natural gas – multifuel-based co-gen power project. The project is waiting for environmental clearance.

According to MoEF sources, total plant area is 14.8 hectares, out of which 4.9 hectares will be developed as greenbelt. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 5.83 billion. Power requirement will be met from the CPP. Effluent Treatment Plant will be installed. The project will complete after two years of commencement.

Emami Cement is planning a cement manufacturing unit in West Bengal.
Emami Cement is planning a 1.5-2 MTPA cement manufacturing unit & a 10 MW coal based Captive power project at Panagarh, dist. Bardhaman, West Bengal on 65 acres. Land has been allotted by the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC). The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 4180 million. The project is in a preliminary stage. The company will apply for environmental clearance shortly. Other details are yet to be finalized. Work on the project is expected to commence in H1 2016.

The capacity of candy sugar is yet to be finalized. Out of the 9 MW, 3 MW will be used for captive consumption & 6 MW will be sold out to Maharashtra State Power Generation Company. The company is in the process of arranging the finance. Work on the project will commence after receipt of financial closure.

Current Status: Expression of Interest invited for setting up of floating/fixed solar PV-based grid connected power plant on Build, Own and Operate (BOO)/ Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) on Kanithi Balancing Reservoir (KBR) at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. According to media reports, at the Visakhapatnam steel plant, the company is expanding the capacity of the unit from the existing 5.2 million TPA to 10 million TPA. The company is investing Rs. 198 billion in the project. In March 2014, the company had invited EoIs for prospective joint venture partners for installation of a seamless tube mill for the steel plant project.
