National Highways Authority Of India is planning 6-laning of Barwa Adda Panagarh Section of NH-2 in Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Project: Planning 6-laning of Barwa Adda Panagarh section of NH-2 on DBFOT basis
Location: Jharkhand and West Bengal.
Cost: Rs. 24348.6 million.
Current Status: As of November 2013, IL & FS Transportation Networks has been issued a Letter Of Award for development and operation the including Panagarh Bypass under NHDP Phase Y. The Concession Agreement was also signed with NHAI on 8th May, 2013. The project is on Toll basis with a concession period of 20 years including construction period of 910 days. The financial tie-up of loans aggregating to Rs. 17, 044 million has been achieved and loan agreements have been executed with Induslnd Bank and IL&FS Financial Services Ltd.
