South India Cements is planning to expand its limestone mining project in dist. Gulbarga, Karnataka.

Status: Planning Stage
Promoter: South India Cements
Project: Capacity expansion of its limestone mining spread over 64.73 hectares.
Capacity: from 0.12 MTPA to 1.45 MTPA
Cost: Rs. 2,180 million ( including cement unit)
Location: Village Malkhed, dist. Gulbarga, Karnataka
Current Status: As of February 2012, the project is in planning stage and planned for completion in April 2012.
