Location: Between Gurgaon and Bawal in Haryana.
Current Status : As of March 2014, approval of the final alignment and pre-feasibility study is awaited from the State Government. The Government of Haryana has given its approval to the creation of a Special Purpose Vehicle for the project and has also been requested to initiate the land acquisition process for MRTS project. DMICDC is planning to start the DPR/Detailed Engineering Studies. Talks have been initiated with JICA for Japanese long tenor, soft loan. Consultant was appointed for preparation of Detailed Project Report. The consultant has submitted the Inception Report and the details of land to be acquired for the project to the State Government. The project was placed before the Board of Trustees in the meeting held on 17th January, 2014 for considering inclusion in JICA rolling plan for DMIC Project. The minutes of the meeting are awaited.

Project: High capacity mass road transit project
Location: Thane, Maharashtra.
Current Status: The project is in a conceptual stage. The project will ensure a seamless commute by a six-lane road that could be a mix of surface and elevated one passing through several areas of the city. The areas that could be connected by this route are Thane railway station east, Kopri, crossing over the tracks at Anand Nagar, Teen Hath Naka, Nitin Company, Laxmi Park, lake in Pokhran, Chitalsar-Manpada, then crossing over the Ghodbunder Road through Swastik Complex, Balkum, crossing old Agra road to reach Thane jail along the creek side and then crossing over the tracks to reach Kopri. The stretch would provide dedicated two lanes on each side for private vehicles and the middle lanes could be used as bus corridors in the future.

Current Status: IRB Infrastructure Developers has emerged as a preferred bidder for the project of 4-laning of Solapur to Yedeshi section of NH-211 from km 0.000 to km 100.000 (Design Length 98.717 Km) to be executed as BOT (Toll) on DBFOT pattern under NHDP Phase-IV. IRB has sought Rs. 1,890 million as Viability Gap Funding from NHAI. The concession period is 29 years and the construction period is 910 days.

Current Status: As of November 2013, IL & FS Transportation Networks has been issued a Letter Of Award for development and operation the including Panagarh Bypass under NHDP Phase Y. The Concession Agreement was also signed with NHAI on 8th May, 2013. The project is on Toll basis with a concession period of 20 years including construction period of 910 days. The financial tie-up of loans aggregating to Rs. 17, 044 million has been achieved and loan agreements have been executed with Induslnd Bank and IL&FS Financial Services Ltd.


State Highways Authority Of Jharkhand is planning widening and strengthening of Chauparan-Chatra road in Jharkhand.

Current Status: The scope of work will broadly include strengthening and widening/reconstruction of the existing carriageway to 2-lane with paved shoulder standards with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, etc and maintenance of the project during the Defect Liability Period, which is expected to be 2 years. For major bridges and structures the Defects Liability Period shall be 5 years. RFQ has been invited on EPC basis.

Location: Karnataka-Kerala border-Kannur section (127 Km) of NH-17 in Kerala.
Cost: Rs. 11.57 billion.
Current Status: As of July 2013, Transstroy – Karnataka – Kerala – Kannur Tollways, an SPV of Transstroy (India) has been awarded the contract under NHDP Phase III. The scope of the work will include design, construction, finance and operation of the project highway. The project stretch starts from Thalappadi (km 17/200) and ends at Vallapatnam (km 148/400) near Kannur. The project highway passes through Kasargod and Kannur districts. The concession period for the project is 30 years including construction period. Financial closure has been achieved. The contractor is waiting for land allotment from NHAI. The project is planned for completion in 30 months from zero date


Gujarat State Road Development Corporation is implementing 6-laning of the Bagodara-Vasad road of SH-8 in Gujarat.

Current Status: As of April 2013,civil work is in progress. The project is scheduled for completion in Q1 2014. The project has a concession period of 27 years including construction period of 3 years.The length is 101.76 Kms. The width of the carriageway is 6 lane divided dual carriageway with median. Paved shoulders on both sides having equivalent crust same as the main carriageway is 1.5 Mtrs. Hard side shoulder on both sides is 1.0 Mtr. The project highway is a part of SH-8, which provides key connectivity to two national highways, viz., NH-8A (Ahmedabad-Rajkot-Probandar), and NH-8 (Mumbai-Delhi). The project highway caters to commercial traffic from industrial clusters in Bhavnagar, Savli, Sanand, Anand and ports in Saurashtra region (Pipavav, Porbandar, Mundra and Kandla). The shortest link connecting Saurashtra/Kutch region to the highly industrialized regions of Surat, Vadodara, Ankleshwar and Mumbai.
